How we are different

  • Our administrative overhead is very low because our staff are employed on a project basis. They work for us until the project contract ends. Additionally, the staff of a reputed trekking company Ace the Himalaya volunteer one full day or 8 hours each week and help us with various works such proposal writing, documentation, government tasks and so on.
  • Our projects focus on enriching lives and bringing positive changes in rural communities.
  • We work in accordance with policies set by the governmental Social Welfare Council.
  • Aid is precious. To avoid wastage we identify the genuine needs of the community before starting a project.
  • We work only in those communities we know well and where we have local contacts.
  • Every cent donated goes directly to our projects.
  • We update our donors and take them for a visit to those spots, during the work or after the project is completed.
  • We are supported by prestigious international entities.
  • Where possible we use locally available manpower and resources to implement our projects.

Be assured that your money will be used wisely and well. Every cent donated goes directly to our projects.

Since we work only in those communities we know well and where we have local contacts, it helps us to identify the genuine needs of the communities and avoid wastage of aid. Our approach in achieving our goals is what makes us successful and stand out from a myriad of social organizations that exist today.

Our main partner and supporter is Sambhav Nepal – Schweiz. It’s registered in Switzerland and founded by Melanie Kreuzer after the 2015 earthquake devastated Nepal. She and her organization provide expert international leadership and guidance to us from Switzerland, which isn’t easily available to other local organizations. Most importantly, her involvement means our projects get strong funding and that helps to complete our projects fully instead of leaving them in the middle. In addition, we are also supported by prestigious international entities like the Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) and the Australian Embassy in Nepal which have approved, endorsed and/or funded our projects. We are also supervised, supported and approved by various Rotary clubs of Nepal, Australia and Canada.

Be assured that your money will be used wisely and well. Every cent donated goes directly to our projects.

Whatever type of work it is, we update our donors and take them for a visit to those spots, during the work or after the project is completed.

Any donation made to Sambhav Nepal – Schweiz by a Swiss national is tax free. The Swiss nationals will receive a tax-deduction letter once the donation has been made. Please visit here for information on how to donate: https://www.sambhavnepal.org/donate-now/.

The donation to Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) for Sambhav Nepal’s projects is also tax deductible. You can make the tax-deductible donation here: https://donations.rawcs.com.au/Default.aspx?ProjectID=271&ReturnTo=4

Where possible we use locally available manpower and resources to implement our projects, thus supporting the local economy. The methods and materials that we utilize ensure minimal impact to the environment and the community, while providing efficient, sustainable and tangible results.
